Every year nearly 16 lakh Indians die due to poor quality care. That’s about 4,300 deaths every day due to poor treatment

78 lakh Indian children are forced to earn a livelihood even as they attend schools while 8.4 crore children don’t go to school at all.

What happens when a country of the size of India has over 3 million children living on the streets? Or has over 150 million children working as bonded labourers? Or one out of every six girl child does not live to see her 15th birthday? What happens when despite having a national policy for compulsory primary education, only 50% of children have access to education?

Karuna Devi Foundation plays an important part in protecting poor children’s health and education. A lot of awareness is created amongst the Indian people on deadly diseases like Heart Disease, Cancer, etc. for which camps are set up and run all over the India from time to time.Children living in the slums are also provided nutritious food, medicines and clothing free of cost. Karuna Devi Foundation take care of Secondary, Primary and Middle level schools for offering stationaries free of cost and education to the poor and street children

1. To form women groups, youth groups, self help groups; oldaged groups, adoleseent groups, children groups/clubs, community leaders groups and group of volunteers, issue appeals raise funds and accept gifts, donation subscriptions in cash or in kind and any property either movable or immovable for the achievement of the objective of the trust.

2. To provide microfinance facilities to poor and needy person for reducing poverty by improving both people’s standard of living and economic self suffciency as well as offering a pathway to education, health care and equity between men and women.

3. To provide Self-Help Groups(SHGs) or homogeneous group of micro entrepreneurs to needy and poor persons to reflect genuine nned to help each other and work together.

4. To provide medical, emotional, social and medical support to senior citizens of our trust by setting up various drop-in centres, seniopr citizen homes, old-age homes and other entertainment centers so that these highly honorable people should not be neglected.

5. To promote literacy, Cultural and other Social activites by Awareness Programmes, Audit Education Classes, Lectures, Easy Competitions, Exhibitions, Symposiums, Cultural Programmes, Press Conference and Seminars.

6. To provide and support young ones to purse their career oin the various field not only in the field of education but also in the other field in which they are interested like sports, music, arts,designs etc.

7. To promote cottage industries, khadi and traditional handicraft, work for the wellfare of Agricultural workers, Farmers, Unorganized Labours, Industrial Labours and Migrated Labours, spreadf awareness on agriculture, horticulture, fisheries and all other agric sector fields.

8. To promote National Integration, Communal Harmony, Universal Brotherhood and Global Peace, to communicate and coordinate with the Govt. Local and public authorities on various issues related to development welfare and public interest on different subjects, work for welfare & support for the families of Martyrs and Prisoners.

9.To establish an award for the deserving people in the field of Music. Art grass root level social service, communal harmony, brotherhood and peace, organized awareness camps, health camp, workshops, campaign and exhibition, aware people about their democratic & fundamental rights.

10. To promote and support voluntary donation of Blodd, Eyes and other parts of human body for the charitable purpose, promote traditional games along with the contemporary sports among youth & others.
